Our story began in 2020 at a pub quiz, thanks to a group of mutual friends. Week after week, we battled through trivia together, and after a year of questionable general knowledge (and discovering we made a pretty great team), Josh finally asked Rachael out on a date.

One tray of dumplings and a full The Lord of the Rings trilogy later (a true test of compatibility) we made it official.

Since then, we've built a life filled with love, laughter, adventures, and just the right amount of friendly competition. On 20 September 2025, Josh asked Rachael to marry him in Cornwall Park, with the help of her best friend and maid of honour, Casey Rei. Thankfully, she said yes!

From the very beginning, we've been incredibly lucky to have such amazing family and friends cheering us on. We wanted to celebrate this milestone with everyone who has been part of our journey, so we've decided to throw one big party with all of you before tying the knot in an intimate ceremony with our immediate family at a later date.

Thank you for being part of our story, for your love and support, and for helping shape the memories we've made along the way. Now there's only one thing left to do—eat, drink, dance, and celebrate with the people we love most.
